BETWEEN EARTH AND SKY
"Art reminds us of our unlived potential.
There is no plan. It's spirit work."
- Natalie
"Birdman"
This painting is based on native American mythology. Underneath is a cowboy riding a bull next to the train tracks on the upper left. There are a couple of skulls left on the train tracks. That is part of our history, people shooting buffalo from the train windows, killing millions.
Then I rewrote and covered that story with the Birdman, who is a connector between the spiritual realm and the physical realm. The horse is calling the Birdman to descend from the spiritual realm and bring peace.
